BookOne PMS Product Release Notes – 30 June 2026

We're excited to announce the latest BookOne PMS production release, deployed on 30 June 2026. This update introduces significant enhancements to Stock Management, Channel Manager, and Order Reporting, making day-to-day hotel operations more efficient and user-friendly.

Stock Management Enhancements

Our inventory management module has received powerful improvements to simplify purchasing and tax management.

Multiple Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) for a Single Purchase Order

Managing partial supplier deliveries is now much easier.

Previously, users often had to create multiple Purchase Orders when suppliers delivered items in separate shipments. With this enhancement, multiple Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) can now be created against a single Purchase Order (PO).

Example

Imagine you create a Purchase Order for 10 units of an item.

The supplier delivers 6 units today.

The remaining 4 units arrive later.

Now you can:

Create the first GRN for the 6 received items.

Create another GRN later for the remaining 4 items.

Keep all receipts linked to the same Purchase Order.

Benefits

Maintains complete procurement history

GST & VAT Configuration at Category Level

Tax management is now faster and more consistent.

Instead of configuring GST or VAT individually for every inventory item, users can now define tax once at the Category level.

What's New

Configure GST or VAT once for an entire category.

All items within that category automatically inherit the configured tax.

Tax can still be disabled for individual items whenever required.

Only one tax type (GST or VAT) can be applied at a time to avoid conflicts.

Purchase Order Tax Handling

When creating a Purchase Order:

Applicable tax is automatically fetched from the item or category configuration.

Users can exclude tax by simply turning OFF the Tax Include option.

This enhancement reduces manual work while ensuring consistent tax application across inventory.

Channel Manager Dashboard Enhancement

BookOne Product Enhancement

We've improved the filtering experience within the Channel Manager Dashboard.

Persistent Filters

Previously, users had to reapply filters after navigating away from the dashboard.

Now, applied filters remain active even when users move to another page and return.

Filters will stay applied until:

The user logs out, or

The filters are manually reset.

Order Report Enhancements

The Order Report has been enhanced to provide better readability and consistency between the application and exported reports.

Improved Excel Export

Several improvements have been made to exported reports:

Orders are now displayed date-wise, matching the same sequence shown in the application.

An Expand option has been added to display all orders grouped under each date.

Any filters applied in the report are now automatically reflected in the exported Excel file.
