Booking Management Enhancements

Booking Management has received several enhancements to improve usability, financial accuracy, and guest management.

Enhanced Finance Breakdown for Group Bookings

The Finance Breakdown section on the Booking View page has been revamped to provide complete support for Group Bookings. This gives hotel staff better visibility into booking finances and payment details.

Improved Booking Cancellation Experience

The Booking View page now provides a smoother experience after a booking cancellation, ensuring booking details are displayed more accurately and consistently.

Master Payment Settlement for Group Booking Conversion

Managing payments during booking conversion is now more flexible.

When converting a Single External Booking into a Group Booking, users can now enable the Master Payment Settlement option. This allows payments to be managed centrally, making group reservations easier to handle.

Customer Photo Support

Customer photos are now supported for both Arrival and Departure bookings with optimized customer mapping.

This enhancement helps front desk teams quickly verify guest identities during check-in and check-out.

Improved Booking Status Progress Bar

The Booking Status Progress Bar has been enhanced to display booking progress more accurately, giving staff a clearer view of each booking's lifecycle.

Split Bill Functionality

Hotels can now split invoices directly from the Booking View page.

This enhancement makes billing more flexible, especially for:

Additional Guest Information in Temp-2 Invoice

The Temp-2 invoice format now includes Additional Guest Information, providing more comprehensive guest details in generated invoices.

Room Upgrade Charges in Invoices

Room Upgrade Charges are now automatically displayed under Accommodation Services in invoices, ensuring improved billing transparency and accurate invoice presentation.

Booking Management Issues Resolved

Several important issues have been addressed to improve accuracy and reliability.

Fixes include:

Corrected Payment Due calculations for Group Bookings using BTC payment mode.

Fixed Finance Breakdown calculation discrepancies.

Guest names in email communications now display correctly in Title Case instead of uppercase.

Resolved UI issues during Group Booking conversion when room plans differed.

Restored the Electronic Invoice option after checkout.

Corrected room rate recalculations after booking amendments.

Fixed Payment Mode updates after editing post check-out part payments.

Improved synchronization of Additional Guest information.

Corrected Extra Adult and Extra Child charge calculations in Group Child Bookings.

Fixed manually set zero-value Extra Adult/Child charges from reverting to original plan prices.

These fixes improve booking accuracy, billing consistency, and overall operational reliability.

Housekeeping Enhancement

The Housekeeping module has been strengthened with an improved task creation process.
