BookOne Next – Release Notes: 7 September 2026 Update

The BookOne Next 7th September 2026 release brings 8 updates focused on making hotel operations smoother and more reliable. With improvements to outlet visibility, no-show booking actions, report layouts, and targeted fixes across orders, OTA payments, plans, and item pricing, this update helps hotel teams manage daily workflows with greater clarity and accuracy.

BookOne Next continues to improve with another focused release aimed at making hotel operations smoother, reports easier to work with, and booking and order workflows more reliable.

The 7th September 2026 release includes 8 updates, covering 4 enhancements and 4 bug fixes across outlet management, bookings, reports, night audit, and POS/order workflows.

What's New in BookOne Next

1. Outlet Display Enhancement — BHS-541

Managing multiple outlets becomes easier with improved outlet visibility.

The outlet name is now displayed at the top of the menu bar, making it easier for users to identify the active outlet and select the appropriate outlet while working in the system.

This is particularly useful for properties managing multiple operational outlets and helps reduce confusion when switching between different areas of the business.

2. No-Show Booking Actions — BHS-524

No-show bookings now have improved action options for easier reservation management.

The Reinstate option has also been renamed to Undo No-Show, making the action clearer and more intuitive for users handling no-show reservations.

This update helps front-office teams understand the available action at a glance and manage no-show bookings more efficiently.

3. Plan Report UI Revamp — BHS-525

The Plan Report has received a UI revamp focused on usability and data presentation.

The updated interface makes the report easier to navigate and improves how information is presented, helping hotel teams work with plan-related data more comfortably.

4. Departure & Cashier Report Layout Revamp — BHS-518

The Departure Report and Cashier Report have received improvements to their Print and Excel layouts.

The updated layouts provide:

  • Better report readability
  • Improved data presentation
  • Cleaner print output
  • More usable Excel exports

These improvements make it easier for hotel teams to review, share, and work with operational reports outside the PMS.

Bug Fixes & Improvements

Alongside the new enhancements, this release addresses several workflow and calculation issues.

5. Room Order Amount After Cancellation — BHS-544

An issue where the room order amount continued to appear after an order was cancelled has been fixed.

Room order amounts will now be handled correctly following cancellation, helping ensure that order-related information remains accurate.

6. OTA Paid Amount in Night Audit Report — BHS-540

The Night Audit Report has been corrected to properly reflect OTA-paid amounts.

Previously, the OTA paid amount could incorrectly appear under the Credit section. This issue has now been resolved to improve the accuracy of Night Audit reporting.

Accurate payment classification is particularly important during daily reconciliation and financial review.

7. Plan Change for Checked-In Booking — BHS-538

Users can now change the plan for an already checked-in booking as expected.

An issue that prevented plan changes for checked-in reservations has been fixed, improving flexibility when reservation details need to be updated during a guest's stay.

8. Variation Item Price Update Issue

An issue affecting variation items has also been resolved.

Previously, the price of a variation item could automatically change when users added more than one quantity of the same variation item. The pricing behavior has now been corrected so that the appropriate item price is retained when quantities are increased.
