The BookOne Next release for 21st September 2026 brings a fresh set of enhancements designed to make hotel operations smoother, faster, and more efficient. From improved Daytrip and reservation workflows to updates across POS, expense management, attendance & payroll, purchase, inventory, and reporting, this release focuses on better usability, clearer information, and more reliable day-to-day operations.
The latest BookOne Next release brings a wide range of enhancements and fixes across Daytrip, Order Management, POS, Reservations, Expenses, Attendance, Inventory, and other key hotel operations. The update focuses on improving everyday workflows, making information easier to manage, and addressing issues identified across booking, billing, orders, and inventory processes.
What's New in BookOne Next
Daytrip Module Improvements
The Daytrip module has received functional enhancements covering the workflow through the Checkout stage. This expands the module's functional coverage and supports a more complete Daytrip workflow within BookOne Next.
Better Order Management & POS Workflows
Several improvements have been made to Order Management and POS, with a focus on order sources, service charges, reporting, receipts, and printing.
The Source of Order interface and service charge management have been enhanced. The Order Report now includes the coupon name and coupon filter, while its header and footer remain visible when working through the report.
The release also addresses several order-related issues. Removed items will no longer continue appearing in the Order Dashboard after being removed through Add Item. Order status handling has also been corrected when a 100% discount is applied.
Improved POS Receipts, KOTs and Invoices
POS receipts have been updated so that the Rate column displays the unit selling price. Issues affecting KOT and Invoice Print pages have also been resolved.
In addition, service amount handling has been corrected so that service amounts are no longer incorrectly displayed under the Round-Off section.
Service charge management has also been expanded with options for Takeaway Order Charge and Room Order Charge in the Service Charge List.
Expense Management Updates
The release includes improvements to Expense Management as well.
Refund payment handling has been corrected so that BTC, CI and BTR payment modes are no longer displayed when collecting a refund. The Expense Details interface has also been updated, with filter selection restored and the UI format improved in Manage Expense.
Reservation Management Gets a UI Refresh
The Guest Details and Maintenance Information interface has been redesigned to provide a cleaner and more structured experience within Reservation Management.
Service invoices can now also be separated by outlet directly from the Booking View page. The release further includes an enhancement to the OTA booking report and introduces WhatsApp notifications for new bookings to the host.
A More Organized Guest Details Experience
The redesigned Guest Details interface is part of BookOne Next's ongoing effort to make booking workflows easier to work with.
The updated guest interface helps users find or add the primary guest while working with booking details.
The updated experience provides a cleaner interface for handling guest information as part of the reservation workflow.
Attendance & Payroll
Attendance management has also received a practical enhancement.
The Bulk Attendance workflow now includes a Week Off status, making it easier for teams to record attendance information for employees whose scheduled day is off.
Purchase & Inventory Improvements
The latest update also brings improvements to purchase and inventory workflows.
Users can now search for suppliers directly while creating a Purchase Order, making supplier selection quicker when working with larger supplier lists.
Inventory movement records have also been enhanced with + and − signs, providing clearer visibility into increases and decreases in inventory transactions.
Migration & UI Improvements
The release also includes migration-related UI updates covering several dialog windows, including:
- Business Profile
- Cancel and Undo Cancel
- No-Show and Undo No-Show
- Refund
- Manage Service
These updates contribute to a more consistent interface across different workflows in BookOne Next.
