BookOne Next – Release Notes: 21 September 2026 Update

BookOne Next continues to evolve with a new release focused on improving Daytrip operations, Order Management, POS, Reservations, Expense Management, Inventory, Attendance, and overall workflow usability.

This release brings a mix of new enhancements, workflow improvements, production fixes, and migration updates designed to make everyday hotel operations more consistent and easier to manage.

What's New in BookOne Next

Daytrip Module Gets Expanded Coverage

The Daytrip Module has received a significant enhancement with the completion of the required functional coverage through the Checkout flow.

This update, covered under BHS-490, extends the Daytrip workflow and provides a more complete operational flow from the initial process through checkout.

Improved Order Management & POS Workflows

Several updates in this release focus on making order management, POS operations, and related reports more accurate and easier to use.

Enhanced Order Management — BHS-551

The Source of Order UI has been enhanced along with improvements to service charge management.

These changes provide better visibility and control when managing different order sources and applicable service charges.

Better Order Reports — BHS-564

The Order Report now includes several usability improvements:

• Coupon name is now displayed.
• A coupon filter has been added.
• Report headers and footers are now sticky.

These changes make it easier to filter and review order information while working with larger reports.

Order Dashboard Issue Resolved — BHS-552

An issue where removed items continued to appear in the Order Dashboard after being removed through the Add Item option has been fixed.

The dashboard will now reflect the updated order information correctly.

Order Status with 100% Discount — BHS-553

A regression issue affecting orders with a 100% discount has been resolved.

Previously, applying a 100% discount through All Item Discount could change the order status from Confirmed to Submitted. This behavior has now been corrected.

POS Receipt Rate Column — BHS-561

The Rate column on POS receipts has been updated to display the unit selling price, providing clearer and more accurate pricing information on receipts.

KOT & Invoice Print Page Fix — BHS-558

The KOT and Invoice Print Page issue reported in production at Krishna Palace has been fixed.

Service Amount Round-Off Fix — BHS-565

An issue where the service amount was incorrectly appearing under the Round-Off section in orders has been resolved.

More Service Charge Options — BHS-577

The Service Charge List now includes:

• Takeaway Order Charge
• Room Order Charge

This gives properties more flexibility when configuring service charges for different order types.

Expense Management Improvements

Refund Payment Mode Fix — BHS-547

A regression issue in refund processing has been addressed.

Previously, BTC, CI, and BTR payment modes were appearing while collecting a refund. These options are now handled correctly.

Expense Details UI & Filter Fix — BHS-549

The Expense Details section under Manage Expense has received a UI update, along with a fix to the filter selection behavior.

This restores the expected filtering experience while making the screen easier to work with.

Reservation Management Updates

Reservation workflows also receive several important improvements in this release.

Guest Details & Maintenance Information UI Redesign — BHS-572

The Guest Details and Maintenance Information interface has been redesigned to provide a cleaner and more usable experience.

The update focuses on improving the way important guest and maintenance-related information is presented within the reservation workflow.

Service Invoice Separation by Outlet — BHS-568

Service invoices on the Booking View page can now be separated by outlet.

This enhancement is particularly useful for properties managing services across multiple outlets and helps keep service billing more organized.

OTA Booking Report Enhancement — BHS-469

The OTA Booking Report has also been enhanced as part of this release, improving the reporting workflow for OTA-based reservations.

WhatsApp New Booking Notification to Host — BHS-573

A new requirement has been implemented to support sending WhatsApp notifications to the host when a new booking is received.

This provides another communication channel for keeping the relevant property team informed about new reservations.

Stay-View Occupancy Update — BHS-575

The Total Occupancy column in Stay View has been modified as part of this release to improve how occupancy information is presented.

Attendance & Payroll

Bulk Attendance Enhancement — BHS-545

Bulk Attendance now includes a Week Off status.

This gives teams a more appropriate option when managing attendance records for employees whose scheduled day is a weekly off.

Purchase & Inventory Improvements

Supplier Search in Purchase Orders — BHS-555

A supplier search option has been added to the Create Purchase Order page.

This makes it easier to locate and select the required supplier when creating purchase orders.

Clearer Inventory Movement Records — BHS-557

Inventory movement records now include + / - signs to make it easier to identify whether a transaction represents an increase or decrease in inventory.

This small usability improvement provides greater clarity when reviewing inventory movements.

Migration & UI Improvements

The release also includes several migration-related UI updates:

• Business Profile p-dialog modification
• Cancel, Undo Cancel, No-Show and Undo No-Show p-dialog modifications
• Refund page p-dialog modification
• Manage Service p-dialog modification

These changes contribute to a more consistent interface across key workflows.
